Interventional Pulmonology

UC San Diego Health is among the few medical centers in the country to offer comprehensive interventional pulmonology services.

Interventional pulmonology focuses on the use of minimally invasive techniques to diagnose and treat lung cancer, airway disorders and pleural diseases.

We work closely with specialists at Moores Cancer Center, regional pulmonologists, transplant physicians and primary care doctors to coordinate our patients' medical care.
