Interventional pulmonology focuses on the use of minimally invasive techniques to diagnose and treat lung cancer, airway disorders and pleural diseases.

UC San Diego Health is among the few medical centers in the country to offer comprehensive interventional pulmonology services.

We work closely with specialists at Moores Cancer Center, regional pulmonologists, transplant physicians and primary care doctors to coordinate the medical care of our patients.
