Walk-In Clinics: Urgent Care and Express Care Locations

COVID-19 testing update: Testing at our Express Care and Urgent Care locations is offered only during a visit with a provider, who will evaluate your symptoms and determine whether testing is warranted. See COVID-19 Testing for other options and more information.

Express Care Video Visits

Emergency Care

If you have a life-threatening injury or other medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Department.

Our ER locations in San Diego county are open 24 hours every day.

About Express Care

Express Care is a walk-in option for children and adults. It’s ideal for common health care needs, including sore throats, ear infections and minor injuries. Wellness visits are also available. Care is provided by board-certified nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

Urgent Care is for conditions that require medical care within 24 hours, but are not life- or limb-threatening. The service is available at two UC San Diego Health locations or through contracted providers across the county.
