UC San Diego Health Helps Lead Study of 80 Rare Cancers
Moores Cancer Center physicians are playing a big role in an innovative, nationwide clinical trial to see whether 80 rare cancers can be treated with immunotherapy drugs.
The Rare Tumor Clinic at UC San Diego Health specializes in rare cancers and works in conjunction with our
Center for Personalized Cancer Therapy to provide the best in precision medicine treatments.
We offer an approach that integrates all aspects of routine care, including but not limited to surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy, but we emphasize genomically targeted treatments and
immunotherapy. We also offer comprehensive genomic profiling and access to a large array of
clinical trials.
In addition, patients are discussed in depth with a interdisciplinary team of experts at the
Molecular Tumor Board.
